I love the nightlife
I heard you say it
Then I saw you
Standing
Vacant apparently
In a trance
But only
For want of something more interesting to do
The same empty sounds
The same pointless words
The same old same old
Nightlife
Once you're past a certain age
It's either work
Or drugs
Or extremely boring
